Ans. UNIT OF POWER Since the Unit of Energy = joule and the Unit of time is the Second;


P = 1J / 1s
This unit is called the Watt (W) in honour of the English scientist James Watt.


2. Differentiate kinetic energy and potential energy.

Ans.KINETIC ENERGY: All moving objects have energy due to their motion.The energy a body has due to its motion is called kinetic energy.

POTENTIAL ENERGY: Potential energy is the energy a body has due to its position in a force field.
